The Pearl district in Portland is a great photography backdrop for high school senior portraits. We had a lot of fun strolling through the neighborhood on one of the last days of summer with Tasmin. Her hair and make up was done by the awesome Kirstie Wight!

We recently got to hang out and shoot McKenzie’s senior photos from Camas High School in Washington. McKenzie was game for a little urban exploration, so we took her to one of our favorite spots in Portland. It seemed like everywhere we went our backgrounds matched McKenzie’s outfits perfectly. I love it when that happens. McKenzie has no shortage of style or beauty!

St. Charles East High School isn’t typical Continuum stomping grounds, but we are super excited about this extra special session. We don’t often get the opportunity to travel for a senior session, but we were elated to be able to photograph Madeline’s photos in Batavia, Illinois. We already knew Madeline from photographing her in her brother Nick’s wedding last year. Senior shoots are always fun, but the extra bit of familiarity with having already gotten a chance to photograph someone always helps. Madeline’s personality really comes out in these photos. I would have to sum it up by saying she is full of life, and fun to be around. She also has some sort of mystical control over the weather, because as lousy as the rain situation that day was, when we needed to shoot it stopped for us. We photographed her near the Fabyan Windmill in Batavia, which was a fantastic spot!
